Say what you will about the value of celebrity culture, but the bottom line is, it exists. And lately it seems to have been put to good use. The message could not be more true. One man cannot change the course of this nation. We can. And unlike economics, it seems leadership can have a trickle down effect.

What do I pledge, I'm not sure but the hardest thing for me to take on would probably involve situations where I had to meet and work with strangers, so perhaps that is what I need to do.

I think I've said enough on the subject of today's monumental occasion elsewhere. I could pray that the problems of the world go away, but I don't believe thats the way things work, so instead I'll pray for the courage to do the right thing even when it may be frightening.
